Positive: Large apartment on the farm, partially under another house. Free parking place in front of the apartment. Fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine and dish washer available. No separate hot and cold water taps - big plus! We enjoyed the stay and probably would come again.
Negative: You have to pay damage deposit 150 GBP upfront. At your departure you are required to place all garbage in the garbage bins and to strip all beds and place all linen and towels in the laundry bag in the bathroom. To fail to do so means 50 GBP fine. Missing powder/tablets for the washing machine. Low water pressure at the shower. 4 different outdoor garbage bins without clear explanation what put where - pls. realize foreign people know little or nothing about UK garbage filtering rules.
Summary: Nice and quiet. Close to the falkirk wheel.
